If absence makes the heart grow fonder, then a Canadian summer has got to be one of the sweetest.

The Canada Day long weekend is the official start of summer, filled with accoutrements like camping with your best people, floating on a gorgeous lake and bbq's, all weaved together with your favourite tunes. Which is why the Laketown Shakedown is poised to be an epic start to summer 2022.

Music fans are understandably pumped for the return of summer festivals at a whole new level amplified after a string of long, long pandemic summers.

2022 Laketown Shakedown is here with three full nights and days featuring local artists like Ilvis Freshly, Vince Vaccaro, Canadian favourites Glorious Sons, Arkells and Lights and international artists including Wu-Tang Clan, Sugar Ray, and Goldfish.
