Laketown Shakedown/Cowichan Lake/June 30 - July 2/2022

Ahhh the festival, one of the most colourful places to be under the summer rainbow of events. The lights, the sunsets and the unicorn onesies, it's a feast for the senses.

This Canada Day long weekend brought back the Laketown Shakedown after a long pandemic break. It was clear that the artists and the audience were stoked for the return of live music, with the warm festival spirit and sunshine that was plentiful in the woods near Cowichan Lake.

The festival delivered headliners that brought the rock, hip-hop, funk and beats that made the audience sing, sway, groove and grin. I had the joy of being in the photo pit for a few songs, here's a collection of the energy I witnessed on stage at Laketown Shakedown 2022.
